Kate Harper, Designer
I like to combine witty words and vibrant colors to communicate edgy and uplifting messages. My work involves rolling out slabs of ink, and pressing down found objects into it, to create textures. I also design original fonts from hand lettering. I continue to explore ways to bring an uplifting vision into the marketplace.
I have a M.A. in Art Therapy and have taught in a variety of settings, including the Berkeley Adult School and Creative Growth Art Center, an organization that provides classes and a gallery that represent artists with disabilities.
